You are a business development professional, able to participate in business-level and P&L-focused conversations with executives. You manage complex deal structures and multi-party sales process in a highly consultative manner. You naturally gravitate toward using data and insights to change viewpoints on the client side. Finally, you enjoy building -- you like to experiment with new things to further develop our sales process in ways that we may not have explored before.
What you will be doing:
Refine the sales process to close negotiations with North America’s largest Chain Stores that significantly impact Lula’s bottom line.
Develop the strategy for engaging our largest customers to grow their business with Lula.
Manage the deal process with internal stakeholders to get buy-in.
Capture and manage information/data/metrics in our CRM, HubSpot.
Work closely with onboarding and customer success/service team.

Experience selling to one or more of these specific sectors is highly desired: Distribution Centers, Fulfillment Warehousing, Food Manufacturing, and Distribution, Logistics, Warehousing, Restaurants, and C-stores.

Have a passion for innovative technology and can speak comfortably about current trends in the market.
Genuine, humble, and intellectually curious to learn.
Have operated in a remote role and you are comfortable setting your own sales cadence.
Know how to present the value of a solution by asking thoughtful questions that assess business and technical pain points.
Hold an ability to educate key stakeholders around innovation.
What you have done:
2-4 years of business development experience and sales experience selling to large retail chains.
Experience with C-level partnership negotiations.
Lead an analysis-driven negotiation process.
Proven closing skills.
Experience operating in a fast-paced environment
Strong organization skills.
Possess a strong record of accomplishment of achieving sales goals.
Experience selling SaaS B2B software with 1-3 month sales cycles.
Experience using HubSpot CRM, AirCall, Slack
Huge plus if you have experience calling on convenience stores, retail, restaurants, or similar stores.
